For the past few years I’ve been dying to throw a Friendsgiving party with some of my girlfriends. The holidays are such a busy and hectic time so it’s nice to have a little time to catch up and have fun before the craziness really starts. So, when the weather started changing I knew it was time to start planning! I called in my friends at Seed Floral because they creat the most gorgeous centerpieces, Courtney at POPPYjack Shop for her thoughtful calligraphy details, and of course Lulu & Georgia for the best home items to really set the mood.
I wanted the menu to feel very autumnal, so I planned to start with a butternut squash soup, and end with apple hand pies topped with whipped cream. My girlfriends and I had the best afternoon hanging out and catching up, all while drinking glasses of Autumn Sangria {because who says Sangria is just for the summertime?!}. The photos Monica captured were just gorgeous. Just you wait! Hopefully this will give you some of your own Friendsgiving party inspiration!
