One of my best friend’s, Hanna, got engaged last year and since her wedding year is finally here, we knew we needed to start off 2016 with a fun celebration! With some help from kate spade new york, I was able to throw a fun bridal shower bash with the other bridesmaids. It was the perfect way to start the celebrating!
First Come First Served! We filled up this fun pitcher with fresh peach and orange juice, and once the girls arrived we topped their polka dotted flutes with some bubbly from Santa Margherita!
If any of you are shopping for your wedding registry I can’t say enough good things about this table setting set! The plates look incredible together, or alone, and the best part? drumroll please… they’re dishwasher safe! Meaning clean up is easy, and you can use them more often! Why save the china for only the special occasions?
We made a bunch of different types of tea sandwiches but I especially loved how we used this apple cookie cutter to differentiate the apple & brie sandwiches! We also made sandwiches with cucumber and cream cheese {my favorite!}, BLTs, and smoked salmon with herbed butter!
Seed Floral does the best flower arrangements! I loved how perfectly the blooms went with the table!
We ended up using this chip and dip bowl for fresh fruit and yogurt. It worked out perfectly! I love how versatile this piece is because it can be used together or separately.
Can we all drool over this rose gold flatware? I mean..it’s perfect! Also, the rose gold serving set would, without a doubt, be the perfect hostess gift!
One of my favorite little gifts to give are the kate spade new york compact mirrors. They have the cutest sayings on them and they come in handy all the time. Each bridesmaid left with a little one on her place setting as a thank you for helping out. And for the bride? Well this ring dish of course! Every bride needs a special spot for her best accessory!
How gorgeous are these desserts from Bottega Louie? If you’re in LA, you have to visit their restaurant {it’s a must!}, but definitely check out their incredible pastries! They were perfect for the bridal shower!
Hanna and I have known each other since 6th grade and I honestly knew then that we’d be friends forever. She’s one of the most genuine and down-to-earth people, and she’ll make you laugh until your stomach hurts. We’ve had $2 dates, celebrated countless birthdays, gone on wine tasting trips, and of course she was one of my bridesmaids too! I’m so lucky to have her in my life and she’s deserving of all the most wonderful things. It makes me happy to know she’s found her special someone, and I know she and Jesse are going to love being married! It was so fun putting this bridal shower together with the other bridesmaids! I was really inspired when I was reading the new kate spade new york All In Good Taste Book over the holidays. Besides being a great gift idea for anyone who loves to entertain and throw parties, the coffee table book has a pink cover that adds such a fun pop to any room! It’s one of those books that I’m constantly flipping through for ideas!
