I love making oatmeal during the winter but now that it’s starting to warm up, overnight oats are the next best thing! What I love most about overnight oats is how easy they are to prepare. The oats take less than 20 minutes to assemble, and then they just sit in the fridge overnight. In the morning you can add whichever toppings you like and go! The portable containers make it especially easy to travel with. Today I’m sharing a recipe for my favorite Overnight Oats- Three Ways!
OVERNIGHT OATS- Three Ways
makes 3 servings
INGREDIENTS
1 cup plain yogurt {I prefer Greek yogurt but you might want to use plain if you’re adding peanut butter}
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup steel cut oats
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
optional: 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
topping ideas:
peanut butter and banana slices
apples and cinnamon
almonds, coconut, and honey
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix the yogurt, milk, oats, brown sugar, and chia seeds. Divide into three jars or bows, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
In the morning add toppings!

Other toppings I love are berries and granola, figs and maple syrup, and walnuts and raisins! Have you tried overnight oats? What did you think? I remember the first time I made them I had to get used to the colder temperature, but now I love them!
