One area in Los Angeles that I haven’t explored too much in recent years is Larchmont Village. It’s in an area of town that I don’t normally drive near so it’s easy to miss but incredibly worthwhile. I went there the other week and couldn’t believe how much the area has changed. There is one cool coffee spot and restaurant after another, adorable boutiques, even a Diptyque candle store! That’s when you know an area is getting trendy when they bring in the fancy specialty candles!

I went to Go Get Em Tiger for a Sweet {decaf} Latte and loved that the whole cafe smelled like waffles. They make these incredible waffles and brioche toasts that I’m going to have to go back for. The smell was intoxicating. Possibly better than the fancy candles!

I wore this comfy blue and white striped shirtdress with a fringe cardigan and my favorite brown lace-up espadrilles. These shoes were a little hard to break in at first but now they are so comfortable. I’ve been trying to transition to more flats because they’re just a lot more comfortable right now. This is a great go-to weekend outfit!

This weekend I’m going to see Singin’ in the Rain with my best friends at Cinespia and I can’t wait. Singin’ in the Rain is my second favorite musical, after Oklahoma!, and it’s going to be amazing to watch it outside with a picnic dinner. I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks! Seeing movies outdoors is one of my favorite summer activities- I can’t believe it’s already that time of year!
