Everyone knows that they should be getting 8 glasses of water a day, but do we actually stick to it? To be honest, I’ll be lucky if I can get to 5 glasses a day! Being pregnant though, I’ve been more motivated than ever to increase my water consumption. It’s not only good for me, but especially good for the baby. As we’re entering the hot summer months, it’s even more important to drink that H20! Sometimes water can be a little boring to drink, and I already have weird issues with water that’s too cold, so I decided to get creative and play around some infused water combinations. I did some research and found that there are lots of health benefits depending on what you add to the water. Here are 3 Infused Water Combinations to Keep You Hydrated This Summer.

LEMON, LIME, GINGER AND CUCUMBER

This combo is great aiding in digesting and it’s a natural immunity booster. I love how fresh it tastes. Make this water combo in the morning for a refreshing start to the day!

GREEN TEA, STRAWBERRY, MINT AND LEMON

This infused water combo is a natural metabolism booster. I like drinking it in the afternoons, or after a workout. It’s nice because the green tea bag soaks into the water and develops a stronger flavor over time.

ORANGE, BLACKBERRY, RASPBERRY AND BASIL

One of my favorite combos is this one above. The flavor is so good and it’s perfect in the evenings as a cocktail alternative. You could even try it with sparkling water if you like! This one is full of wonderful antioxidants, which are especially beneficial for your health.

Drinking infused water at home is great but it’s even more delicious to enjoy on the go, especially on a hot summer day. I got these bobble ‘Infuse’ filtered water bottles and love them! Not only are the colors really fun and stylish, but they also pull double duty. While they’re great as a fruit infuser, they also have a carbon filter option so you can fill it up anywhere.
