Since Matthew and I are waiting to find out the gender, we’ve been looking at inspiration for gender-neutral nurseries. While it would be fun to outfit a room in florals or sailboats, it’s kind of nice keeping things more simple. It also allows us to see what our baby is most interested in, and tailor the next design around that. I’ve been pinning a bunch of nursery inspiration lately, so I thought I’d share my favorite 6 Gender Neutral Nursery Designs. Let me know what you think!
UPDATE: Here is how we decorated our baby boy Augustine’s nursery!
6 Gender Neutral Nursery Designs
How amazing is that tree mural? I love the idea of bringing outdoors indoors, with plants or art. Hopefully it would make our baby love nature as much as we do!
I love how bright yet neutral this room is! The animal art is a fun touch too!
Another gorgeous wallpaper- this time in a cactus print! Very California Boho! Matthew and I have these moroccan poufs in our living room and love that they could be repurposed in the nursery.
This nursery is classic and sophisticated with the white tufted rocker and the gray curtains. It has a very peaceful feel to it.
My friend Sarah designed this room for her son but I love that it could work for a girl as well. I’m a sucker for a bold green, and the print on this peachy vintage rug is gorgeous! Also, loving the detail on those pom curtains!
While this room is technically for a boy, I think blue and whites can work for girls as well. You just need to add in some more feminine accent pieces. I love how this room has a beachy, coastal feel. It’s so relaxing and soothing!
