Oh I’ve been so excited to share this post with you all! A month ago today, I celebrated my baby shower with friends and family at the Lombardi House in Los Angeles. My sweet friend Leila from Be Inspired PRInspired by This helped throw the most beautiful gender-neutral baby shower with a “You are My Sunshine” theme. It was so incredibly special and every detail was so thought out. I apologize in advance for the overload of photos but it was just too hard to narrow them down. I really did my best though!

The “You are My Sunshine” theme started with this beautiful handmade sign from Happily Ever Etched! I think I’ll be able to include it in the nursery, too, which I am so excited about!!

I felt like a princess sitting in this chair from Circa Vintage Rentals! Wouldn’t this be a great piece to buy too? I totally want one now!

baby shower appetizers appetizer station at baby shower

Canyon Catering did such a great job with the food! There were so many yummy appetizers at the shower, from Beet Kisses, to Charred Avocado Toasts, to Mini Kale Salads! I was especially blown away by these creative Caprese Bombs. So fun!

I wore this pretty green maxi dress, despite the crazy heat! I was pretty set on wearing it because I wanted to add the bridal belt my mom made for my wedding! {If you need any good maternity dresses there are some amazing ones here}

An ombre Virgin Mary station! Bloody Mary options available too!

My best friends planned some really fun games! One that I loved was guessing the children’s book name. You’d have a series of words like “Evening Salutations to the Celestial Orb” and you’d have to guess “Goodnight Moon.” Some were surprisingly difficult!

goodies from babyganics

babyganics surprised me with a huge basket of goodies and little favors for the guests. I’ve been so excited to start testing out their products!

baby shower dessert table with you are my sunshine wooden sign

The yummiest dessert table with treats from Beverly’s Bakery! I loooved the chocolate cake and those shortbread cookies!

M Loves M baby shower

Me and my mommy! I love her so much and can’t wait for her to be the best grandma to our little baby! This will be the first one on our family. The ninth on Matthew’s side! There’s going to be so much love all around!

Love these girls so much!

We had the best afternoon celebrating this little baby and I loved hearing the guesses as to whether we’re having a boy or a girl! It seemed split down the middle…surprise surprise! I can’t believe we could know in less than a month. I swear time has been going by so fast. I feel like I still have a ton to get done but I’m getting more and more excited!

A huge thank you to Leila, Lizzie, Hanna, Pauline, and my mom for helping put this shower together for me. I feel so incredibly luckily to have these wonderful people in my life and I know our baby is going to be equally as blessed! If you want to see some other photos, and read about how I’m planning on balancing work + baby, head to Glitter Guide. They were so sweet to interview me on their site last week.
