Matthew and I have been trying to take advantage of pre-baby date nights but sometimes it’s just such a chore getting dressed up. It’s true that the bigger you get, the less comfortable you become. My biggest challenge lately has been finding an outfit that looks cute and appropriate for date night, but one that layers well {the hot/cold fluctuations are real!}, as well as finding comfortable heels that won’t absolutely kill my feet. Luckily I found an outfit that works perfectly! I’m breaking down how I’m dressing the bump for a date night so keep reading!

DRESSING THE BUMP FOR A DATE NIGHT
The first step to dressing the bump for a date night is making sure you have layers! This tunic is sleeveless so if it gets too hot I can easily take off the leather jacket but not lose that date night look. Leggings are also way more comfortable than jeans, so you can fill up on food and not feel like you’ll explode more than you already are! Next, the shoes! Oh man have I had a hard time with the shoes! I spent a good hour trying on heels at Nordstrom the other week and fell in love with this black pair. Besides the fact that they’re totally my style with the scalloped detail, they also are the best height. I can wear these easily without any problems! Have you shopped any of the shoes in the Anniversary Sale? Make sure to check them out before the prices go up! I’ve been obsessing over this strappy lace-up pair! How perfect are they?! And such a good price too!!
