Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I would get so excited thinking about our first Christmas with the baby. Now that Augustine is here, that excitement is on a whole other level. The holidays are the most magical time of the year, but with a new baby it seems even more so. There are so many fun traditions I’m excited to do as a family, and one has to be our Christmas Eve pajama party. Both Matthew and I have a similar family tradition where we would get to open one present the night before Christmas and it was always a pair of festive pajamas. Then we’d wear those pajamas the whole next day, and bring them out the following season. Since Augustine hasn’t had a first Christmas pajama party yet, we had to get him some early!
The holiday season is already so cozy as it is, but pajamas are a must! I found these at Old Navy and they had so many great options. I loved the buffalo plaid for me though since it’s a print I’ve never had. And for the little guy, he had to have this reindeer outfit. I also love this penguin outfit! Isn’t it so adorable?
The other day we stayed in our pajamas and did some gift wrapping. When I was at Old Navy getting the pajamas there were so many great deals going on for stocking stuffer gifts. Like 60% off good! I found so many cozy knit socks and slippers, thick blanket scarves, and the cutest mittens. If you need any last minute gifts, I’d definitely recommend you stop by. I was able to get a little something for all my peeps! And I even got this pom beanie for me!
A Christmas wrapping party isn’t complete without some hot chocolate and sugar cookies!
I’m counting down the sleeps till Christmas! We’ll be in San Diego with Matthew’s family which is always so fun. He has a big family and there are so many little ones which makes it extra wonderful. I’m looking forward to sitting by the fireplace, singing carols, and drinking some adult egg nog. Do you have any special Christmas traditions? I’d love some ideas of things we can do with Augustine as he grows up!
