The Dress You Need for Spring

the must have spring dress

Spring is one of my favorite seasons to shop for. There are spring parties, weddings, and so many excuses to be outside in the sunshine. After a chillier than usual winter, I’m definitely ready to soak up all the Vitamin D!  I’m always looking for that perfect maxi dress to wear in the spring, and I think I found it. This is the dress you need for spring because it has a triple threat trio that you can’t beat: maxi length, florals and off-the-shoulder! I love a good maxi dress because they’re perfect for day or night. That versatility is also a must when you travel. Plus, it has a detail that I wish ALL other off-the-shoulder dresses had! Tell me if you agree!

One thing that I especially love about this dress from Devlin is how the off-the-shoulder detail is designed. Some dresses and tops are off the shoulder but you’re constantly needing to pull the shoulders down, which can get really annoying. This one is made perfectly: it’s strapless with a sleeve detail that mimics an off the shoulder dress. So much more comfortable and easy to wear! Seriously, why aren’t all off-the-shoulders designed like that?! Makes so much more sense. I’m really loving this brand too! Have you heard about Devlin before? They have the prettiest dresses and I found a bunch on Revolve that I added to my wish list (like this pretty white dress for summer, and this gorgeous one shoulder top). Love how all their pieces are so effortless but have these unique details!

I wore the Beth Dress in Painted Floral for an afternoon at a local museum. We stopped by the gardens after and I felt like this dress fit right in. Florals on florals! Can’t wait for more opportunities to wear this dress during the spring and summer!

Hope you all are having a great day!
