I obviously have my LA favorites, but I love to try a new restaurant, especially one I’ve heard a lot about. The other week Val and I had a major catch up sesh over breakfast at Rose Cafe in Venice. It’s a spot that many people love, and now I know why! Since I was going to be baby free for a few hours I took the opportunity to wear an all white outfit including a skirt! I’ve been dying to wear this white skirt since I got it a few weeks ago. The linen material is perfect for summer. Plus it has some fun ruffles! And this eyelet top will be such a great piece to transition into fall with a pair of high-waisted jeans and loafers! I hate to say it, but this heat wave is making me look forward to cooler weather.
I loved the Lower East Side Breakfast with dill cured salmon, a bagel that tasted homemade, herbed farmer’s cheese, arugula and tomato. I’d highly recommend it! We also couldn’t help getting a few pastries. The kouign amann was incredible- perfectly crispy, carmelized and doughy! The almond croissant was ok- I’ve had better, but it still hit the spot!

If you’re wondering what to wear with an eyelet top, I’d recommend a nude tank. You could also be bold and go for a colored top, even black, underneath. For these photos, I actually just wore a nude bra but you can’t even tell! This has been one of my favorite soft bras {and it works if you’re nursing too!}
I love how an all white outfit looks with cognac brown, so I had to pair this top and skirt with two of my go-to pieces {these sandals that are under $100 and this cute brown leather bag that can also be worn crossbody}.
