If you guys don’t know, I love skincare. Live for it. I seriously won’t start my day without my morning skincare routine. It just doesn’t feel right. I tried a lot of new skincare and beauty products in 2017 – some good and some bad. Now that the year is over, I have a few products I can say I consistently used and loved all year. These products helped my skincare routine so much and I wanted to share them with you all, and also remember them for myself. I’ve loved how these products have worked for me and I hope you can benefit from them too. Read on to see why these are my favorite beauty products of 2017 + I’m also sharing what I’m trying this month.

My Favorite Beauty Products of 2017

Daily Microfoliant – I used this microfoliant to help cleanse remaining particles of makeup and dirt out of my skin. It’s an enzyme-based powder that releases Papain, Salicylic Acid, and Rice Enzymes to smooth the skin and accelerate cell renewal. I love this product because it’s gentle enough for everyday use but it feels like it’s actually doing something. My skin is immediately so much smoother after I wash my face with this. This was actually a product that a lot of you recommended to me, so I was so happy to try it and love it. Thank you!

Advanced Night Repair – I got this after an esthetician said this was their #1 must have product. This intense serum helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles overnight because it’s never too early for an anti-aging routine! I love how smooth and refreshed my skin looks and feels after using this.

Tan Face Express Glow Mask – I love this product because it’s like a self-tanner for your face without harming your skin or clogging your pores. It’s a light mask that moisturizes your skin and tans it within 30 minutes. Amazing!!

Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream – What can I say about this product except that it is a holy grail CC cream! I heard so much about this product and it honestly looks like a foundation with the coverage but is as light as a CC cream. I highly recommend for everyday use! It’s probably my #1 favorite new product that I will for sure buy again and again!

Spotlight Palette – I have gotten so many compliments and questions about the highlighter I use and it’s this product. It comes with three different highlights each with a different hue of sparkle. I love how smooth and buildable this product is. It’s a must!

Personal Microderm Device – I’ve always been interested in getting microdermabrasion to help with my acne and scars and when I came across this product and thought I’d give it a try.

This device is designed to replicate the treatment given by professionals using the same aluminum-oxide crystals on patented spinning discs that work by gently pulling at the skin with a vacuum-action that promotes exfoliation while removing dead skin cells and revealing the healthy skin underneath. I’ve noticed that my skin is a lot smoother and some of my acne scars and decreasing! Halleluia!

Solid Cleansing Oil – I used this cleansing oil daily to remove my makeup morning and night. I scoop a small amount out and rub into my skin to make sure I loosen up my makeup and then wash off with a cleanser. It worked so well and I always felt like I got all of my makeup off. Plus it has a really nice smell!

C E Ferulic – This serum has Vitamin C in it and prevents aging by producing up to 8x the normal skin’s natural photoaging protection. I noticed a big improvement in my skin when using this product and other Skinceuticals products. I felt like I could almost go without makeup too because my skin just looked a lot more vibrant and healthy. You can see why I love this product and other more in my anti-aging skincare routine!

What I’m Trying This Month

Original Skin Matte Moisturizer – I love the idea of a mattifying moisturizer. I feel like most I use are either too heavy or oily to use under makeup and am hoping this does the trick. The willowherb in this moisturizer is to help reduce redness and restore brightness and radiance back into your skin.

Advanced Pigment Corrector – Due to my consistent trouble with acne scars, I am praying this product really helps with pigment. I love that this product is tested on all ethnicities to help correct and prevent unwanted pigmentation. It’s said to be a highly effective, safe, full-facial approach to reducing stubborn discolorations and preventing reoccurrence. So far I’ve loved all other Skinceutical products and know I will love this too!

Plantscription Anti-Aging Power Serum – This is another anti-aging product that is to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles in as little as two weeks {I hope so!}. It also aids in creating a firmer and plumper skin texture due to the product’s 20 targeted anti-aging plant extracts.

Intense Brightening Exfoliating Powder – This product is a water-activated micro-exfoliating cleansing powder to help get rid of dead skin cells. I wanted to try it out to see if it would be a good affordable option to the Dermalogica Microexfoliant. It’s said to improve the appearance of uneven texture & tone skin to better absorb the active ingredients. I’ll keep you posted!

Multi-Spectrum Eye Renewal Serum – I can’t wait to try this product and see the results. I’m always interested in trying new eye creams. This one is supposed to help refresh tired eyes by de-puffing and renewing the skin under your eyes.
