Anyone else having a weird week? Maybe because it’s been shorter than normal, or because the weather is incredibly chilly in SoCal, or maybe it’s because I’m getting incredibly nervous about our trip on Sunday. Maybe a combo of all these things? And I hate to say it, but I have a sore throat. How terrible to get sick before our trip right? I’m just going to be in denial and push through. I think I’m totally fine!
We’re heading to Hawaii though- first flight and big trip with the little guy. I do not feel prepared at all. Traveling is always really stressful for me, but now I have someone else to think about too. And while I used to be able to fall asleep on planes, now I will have to be trying desperately to keep Augustine happy and entertained. Happy baby = happy flight passengers = happy mama! I’ll need all the prayers and good thoughts that we have a smooth and easy flight and that the time change goes well, too! If you have any travel tips or recommendations I’d love to hear them though. It will be our first time on Kauai too so we’re really excited to explore! We love Maui but we thought it might be fun to visit a different island!

I loved this cute dress when I saw it online. It says it’s a sweatshirt dress but the zipper on the back makes it feel a little more polished. I’m always a sucker for details, and blue and white so I think the striped hem and sleeves are what really drew me in. Such a classic piece for spring and summer because of that preppy touch! It’s definitely not a typical sweatshirt dress although it is really comfortable! I ordered some sneakers to wear with this dress but unfortunately they didn’t come in time. I really like what they look like with the booties, though, and I think they’d be so cute with some spring wedges too! What do you think?
I hope you all are having a good week and staying healthy! I know there’s a really bad flu going around so I hope we can all avoid it!
If you have any Kauai or traveling with baby/toddler tips for me, please leave them below! I’d so appreciate it as we start to pack and get ready to leave!
