Hi Friends! Happy Tuesday! Lately, I’ve been all about the dresses. If you saw my posts last week, like this one, you know. I thought it might be nice to mix things up a bit and style some shorts. Seriously, when was the last time I wore shorts on the blog? It’s been awhile that’s for sure. Personally, it can be challenging for me to find a flattering pair. One that’s not too short, not too long, not too distressed, not too tight. You get the idea. It’s a process. I was at the mall the other day, though, and found this pair that I absolutely loved. The metallic linen material makes them a little fancy, but you can totally dress them down. Curious?? 1 pair of dressy shorts styled 2 ways coming right up!

Outfit 1
Oh how I love mustard! It’s one of my favorite colors to wear, no matter the season. I know some people stray away from it, but I feel like it’s so flattering. I paired this blouse with the shorts and wore a pair of black slides to keep it comfy. I love easy outfits like this one. This would be a great outfit choice for running errands, or even having a casual get together! Let me know if you’re into mustard in the comment below. And if not, let me know why. I’m curious!

This striped sweater is so adorable! I love the colors of pinks together with the white. And doesn’t it work with the shorts? This outfit was perfect for a surprisingly chilly evening near the water. I felt a little more prepared with the sweater. Even though it’s May now {ah!}, it has still been kind of cold. And it’s supposed to rain later this week. Personally, I don’t mind one bit. Especially if it means I can get use out of light sweaters like this one. Also, if you’re looking for a good pair of espadrille platforms, I’m so into this pair. I wore them before here and I love how versatile they are!
