Can I be honest with you all for a second? Sometimes I don’t love jeans. Sure, I wear them, but only because they’re easy and good go-tos. I would much prefer to wear dresses or skirts, though, because they feel the most me. The only thing is that wearing dresses or skirts is not always conducive to my mom-life routine. So jeans it has been! Lately, I’ve found so many cute summer pants, though, that would make such a great alternative to jeans, and they work well with holding little ones too! Today I’m sharing a bunch of my favorites that I would consider the new summer pant—new and improved I should add! They’re chic, comfortable, and cooler than jeans, in both meanings of the word!
The New Summer Pant
Lately I’ve been finding lots of cute jean alternatives to wear during the summertime. I love a cotton-linen blend because they circulate air well {crucial in high temps, and even in AC!}. I found this pair of pants and was sold immediately because 1. The gingham pattern is so so cute and stylish. P.S. It’s surprisingly versatile too! 2. The paperbag style is really flattering, and 3. It’s slightly cropped so it looks so great with heels or flats. Bonus points because it feels a little vintage-inspired and you know I love an Audrey Hepburn-inspired wardrobe!
Linen-cotton pants, like this pair, are a great option for the office as well! And they could easily be taken from day to night. Swap out your button-up blouse for a fancier top, like this red blouse that just screams date night, and change into some sandal heels. Now you’re ready to go!
