JULY BEAUTY PICKS

Coola Organic Scalp & Hair Mist SPF 30

I am so excited to try this Scalp and Hair Mist by Coola Organic! In these hot summer months when I am out in the sun so much with my family, I find it so important to keep my scalp protected from the harsh UV rays! This product has SPF 30 and is supposed to provide sun protection while keeping your hair moisturized and looking good. It is recommended for all hair types and it’s full of antioxidants that will help to keep your hair healthy and moisturized. It is also non-GMO, cruelty-free, and water resistant for up to 80 minutes. I can’t wait to try it!

St. Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Everyday Moisturizer + Primer

I’ve heard so much about the St. Tropez products so I am definitely looking forward to trying this one! This tinted moisturizer + primer is made for everyday use aimed towards moisturizing your skin while creating a natural looking glow that is long lasting and blends in with your natural skin tone. Along with moisturizing, it claims to prime the skin by blurring imperfections and improving skin tone and smoothness. It is supposedly good for all skin types and will not block or clog pores allowing for everyday use to create that sun-kissed no makeup look that people strive for!

KORRES Pomegranate AHA & Enzymes Resurfacing Mask

Made for all skin types, this resurfacing mask sounds great if you are looking for a gentle mask to even out your skin tone! It is supposed to even out the texture of your skin as well as reduce the visibility of pores to leave your face glowing and smooth. Many reviews say they saw a definite improvement in skin texture, skin tone, and appearance of pores so I am so excited to see if this mask is as good as it’s hyped up to be!

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream

This daily moisturizer is full of ingredients to help provide deep hydration to your skin cells. Claiming to be clinically cleared for sensitive skin, it is the perfect gentle moisturizer for every day application. With the use of Goat Milk, it is capable of soothing and nurturing extremely dry skin, while the proteins in the milk help to naturally restore the skin. This moisturizer also contains jojoba, avocado hydrate, aloe, grape-seed oil, and vitamin E to help boost the smoothness of skin as well as neutralize free radicals. I’m going to be using this moisturizer at night since I’m using the Philosophy SPF one during the day still.

Playa Endless Summer Spray

I am always so intrigued by these dry volume and texture sprays! This endless summer spray is made for any hair type whether it be pin straight or naturally curly. It is supposed to bring out the natural curl of your hair while creating a more voluminous look as well! Made without alcohol, this product supposedly keeps your hair moisturized and smooth for a healthy beach look. I am most excited about this product because the sea salt used is harvested all naturally in Southern California! The product also claims to be UV protectant to keep your hair and scalp from getting damaged from the sun. Sounds like a winner!

MAY RECAP

Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25

I’m so happy to say I’ve found a foundation that is light but gives excellent medium coverage! It hides my red spots without being too heavy. Plus it blends streak-free! I’ve been using this foundation regularly and I also love how long it lasts, too. I can put it on in the morning and it looks great for the rest of the day! I’ve even shot blog photos wearing it and I agree that there’s no “flashback” from the camera because of the SPF.

Kenra Professional Platinum Dry Texture Spray 6

This product gives my hair so much volume! I spray it in after I curl my hair, or on days where I need some extra body. It’s not stiff or crinkly at all! I also love how well it absorbs oil!

Philosophy Renewed Hope in A Jar Refreshing & Refining Moisturizer

I’ve really loved all the Philosophy products I’ve used.  This moisturizer has quickly become a favorite – it’s not too heavy and it does an excellent job of hydrating my skin. I noticed that the reviews seem to favor the SPF-free version so that might be another to try and compare!

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

Ok this product lives up to the hype! SO many of you told me you loved this cleansing balm and I am sold! It does an amazing job getting all my makeup, eye makeup included, off at the end of the day. It’s become a regular part of my routine, especially when I have a full face of makeup on! A little goes a long way so I know this will be a product I can continue using for months!

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength Exfoliating Mask

This mask has been one I’ve been using regularly over the past month and I’ve really noticed a difference in the redness of my post-acne marks. I feel like my skin is a lot more clear now than it was at the beginning of the month. I put this on originally for just 10 minutes to get my skin used to the product, and I’ve since worked up to 15 minutes. Be prepared that your skin will be pink afterward, but that’s just a sign that it’s working. I will say that the scent isn’t the best. It’s not terrible, but it does smell a little funny. So just keep that in mind! This was my first Juice Beauty product I’ve tried, and I’m looking forward to testing out more. I especially love that it’s a cruelty-free company.

I hope you all enjoyed my July Beauty post! I can’t wait to report back next month on some of these Summer Beauty picks. We’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors this month so I know they’ll all come in handy!
