Because you get discounts on NEW fall items. Not old things that haven’t been selling for the past few months. NEW items! Today I’m sharing a secret tip for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that will allow you to get some of the best pieces!
A Secret Tip for Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Ok, so you want to know the secret tip for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? Trunk Club! You might have seen me mention Trunk Club a few times before on social media. I started using their service last year and I’m hooked. If you’re not familiar, Trunk Club is a personal styling service for men and women, perfect if you don’t have much time to shop, you’re looking for help from a stylist, or you don’t live close to a Nordstrom {yes they’re a Nordstrom company!}. I always love a second opinion when shopping, especially from someone who loves fashion like I do. My stylist Carolyn and I totally hit it off and she picks all these pieces that I love, even ones I wouldn’t have normally thought of!
There are two ways to use Trunk Club. The first, is the most popular way, and that’s through at-home trunks. You share your size, style and fit preferences with your stylist and they handpick a tailored selection of clothing for you. You get a preview of what they’re sending which you can comment on before it’s sent. Then you get your Trunk, which is the best mail day ever, and try everything on and keep what you love and send the rest back at no charge.
Along with the at-home trunks, you can also shop in person at one of Trunk Club’s six brick and mortar Clubhouses across the country. Their Clubhouses are in Boston, Chicago {HQ}, Dallas, New York City, Washington D.C., and of course LA! If you haven’t been in one of the Trunk Club Clubhouses it’s an incredible experience! They’re beautifully designed and laid out and it makes the shopping/trying on process feel so luxe and special. Their LA Clubhouse is a home away from home, and I especially love that they have a bar too. Who doesn’t want a special drink while shopping?!
THINGS TO NOTE
I should mention that Trunk Club is not a subscription service, there are no fees and shipping is always free. You can choose when you want to get your Trunks- monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or just on a specific date. I’ve used Trunk Club when updating some of my mom style basics and when I was looking for versatile pieces to wear to a holiday party! It was so helpful because I told my stylist what I was looking for and she sent me just that!
As a Nordstrom company, Trunk Club has a huge variety of high quality inventory. You can find items that you’d expect to see at Nordstrom. There’s a $25 styling fee but that’s credited towards whatever you choose to keep, and you can still return the rest with their free shipping. And if you have a Nordstrom card, the styling fee is waived regardless. Love a good perk!
