While I love a dress, sometimes I want a more casual option. Jeans are usually my go-to in those casual situations, but when it’s 80/90+ degrees, I just can’t even think about having my legs covered. A good denim skirt is the ideal casual option for what to wear when you’re over shorts. You get the denim aspect, but it doesn’t feel as showy as shorts can be. I paired this skirt with a lightweight silk-like tank which is another ideal piece when you want to stay cool. It’s casual because of the tank style but feels polished because of the material and print. Of course, a classic tee would work great with this outfit too.
