An easy fall makeup tutorial with Burt's Bees products. | M Loves M @marmar

I love makeup throughout the year, but I especially love it during the fall and winter seasons {and ah holiday too!!}. I’m so excited to share today’s makeup posts because I’ve teamed up with one of my favorite brands that I’ve featured countless times before…Burt’s Bees. I’ve been obsessed with their Eyebrow Pencil for the past year now {it’s the best I’ve used and the price is perfect!}, and this Matte Lip Crayon in Niagara Overlook is my go-to daily shade. It is so hydrating but not glossy so it feels like it’s not even there. It creates the perfect lip shade that a lot of you always ask about! This tutorial today is inspired by NYFW. While the clothes at NYFW are always incredible, I’m always so curious to see the latest makeup trends taking over the runway. Some get crazy, but I think its fun to think of how you can make it work in a realistic day-to-day look.

Beauty is all about creating looks that reflect who we are. For me, that means a beauty look that is practical for everyday wear. I like to keep it simple, but I also love to take a few risks from time to time (like my new bangs!). Sometimes, bolder is better and it helps bring out a more playful side, especially with my lips.

Today I’m showcasing some of Burt’s Bees beauty products to create a natural smoky eye plus a vibrant statement lip using their awesome Liquid Lipsticks! I hope you love this post.

FALL MAKEUP TUTORIAL

FOUNDATION

One of my favorite new products from Burt’s Bees is their Goodness Glows Liquid Makeup. I use the shade Linen Beige {although, Almond Beige also works, too!}. I love the consistency and how well it blends with my skin. You can use a foundation brush or a damp sponge, the latter being my fave for a more natural look. I use this product across my whole face.

EYEBROWS

As I’ve mentioned before, I love this Eyebrow Pencil! The Brunette shade works so well on me and it doesn’t skew warm at all, which I love. I’ve had so many issues finding the perfect pencil and this is it for me. Plus, you can’t beat the price!

EYES

I decided to use this pretty Eye Shadow Palette in Dusky Woods. I especially like that you could wear these colors year-round. There’s a great cream-colored neutral for the base of your lids. Then, you can layer on the bronzy hue while adding some depth with the dark brown shade. This is a great combo to wear for a subtle smoky eye!

I used the Burt’s Bees Nourishing Mascara, which is such a good one if you don’t want lashes that are clumpy! {Who does right?!} This mascara separates perfectly on your lashes and looks incredibly natural. I love mascaras like this one!

FACE

I’ve been so curious about these All Aglow Sticks! I used the Golden Shimmer Bronzer & Highlighter Stick to give a subtle contour. Cream bronzers {and blushes for that matter} end up blending so well and look really natural, which I totally appreciate! For blush, I used the All Aglow Lip & Cheek Stick in Suez Sands. It’s such a gorgeous shade and not too intense. I felt like it complimented the eyes exactly like I wanted!

On the days I know I’m going to be out and about from AM to PM, I like to set my makeup with powder as a last step for the face. I used the Mattifying Powder Foundation in Bamboo Sand and it just blended everything perfectly!

LIPS

For lips I was so excited to use their Liquid Lipstick in Primrose Pool (one of six gilded shades that are only available at CVS Pharmacy). This shade is the perfect iridescent mauve. It’s not too red and not too pink. I think it might be the best neutral for fall! Plus, I love that you can wear it any season since it’s such a versatile color. This Liquid Lipstick is incredibly smooth and hydrating and they have the best color options (18!) to pick from!
