The Before
Icky icky icky! This bathroom has always felt like a piece of work but I know it’s not terrible. Because of some fun leaking situation though we knew we’d have to redo it. We’ve actually been in the house for over a year and have never used the shower or tub. With a new baby coming in THREE MONTHS {ah!} we figured now would be the best time for a renovation. Luckily we found an amazing contractor and he’s been so on top of everything. Actually, we would have been done a week ago if it wasn’t for a delay on our part with ordering something.
We’ve learned A LOT through this renovation like 1. have all the parts delivered BEFORE you start demo. That one little step makes everything a lot easier. The best part about this process though, besides how quickly and smoothly it’s gone, is that I’ve been able to design something from start to finish. I’m totally obsessed with home design so to be able to see this room come to life has been so fun and rewarding. Here are some of the inspiration photos I pulled for our kids’ bathroom renovation.
