Happy Monday everyone! I have gotten a lot of requests from pregnant mamas about baby shower dresses. Baby showers are such a fun way to celebrate the mom-to-be and also get her set up with some cute and practical items for when her little one(s) arrive. I thought today I would share a bunch of beautiful baby shower dress options, and a major plus is that they’re all under $100! If you’re looking for something to wear to celebrate your baby girl, boy, or your sweet surprise, I think I got you covered. I especially love this dress in blue and pink because it would work whether you’re having a boy or a girl!

When you’re choosing your baby shower dress I would recommend choosing a maternity dress, especially if you’re in the latter half of your pregnancy. You want to make sure you’re picking something that is going to be comfortable and flattering. Of course, if your baby shower is a little earlier, or if you’re challenging yourself to not buy maternity pieces, there are a few options that would work with the bump. My best tip would be to try to find something flowy or something tight and stretchy. I know complete opposites right? Personally, I think something tighter during pregnancy ends up being the most flattering since you can highlight the bump, but I love a pretty and loose boho dress too!
For my baby shower with Augustine, I wore this gorgeous emerald green dress that worked perfectly since we weren’t sure whether we were having a boy or a girl. I found a ton of great options on this site, which I still think has the best maternity section!
It’s not that common to have a baby shower with your second child since, usually, the mamas have most of what they need already. There is a trend for a baby sprinkle though, which is a mini celebration for the mom where maybe they give a few things, like clothes or diapers. Diapers are always needed right? Two of my best friends Hanna and Pauline actually threw me a little sprinkle on Saturday which was so so sweet and unexpected of them. They surprised me with flowers, diapers, the most delicious lunch, and PINK CAKE! What more could a girl want?! It was so so fun to spend Saturday with them and have some uninterrupted girl time since we might not have it for awhile. They’re the best aunties to Augustine and we all can’t wait to add another girl to our group!
