My Spring Wishlist
As I mentioned in this post, I was never a big fan of wearing maternity clothes! Which is why now that Corinna is finally here, I am so ready to refresh my wardrobe. The fact that spring is just around the corner, gives me the perfect opportunity to share my spring wishlist!
One of the styles I missed the most while pregnant, was high-rise jeans! I had to stop wearing them pretty early during my pregnancy, so I can’t wait to throw on a pair when I need an easy and comfy outfit! Since I spent most of fall and winter in black leggings, I’m drawn towards this light wash. One of my favorite outfit combos, is a great button-down shirt with high-waisted denim. This classic blue and striped version will be perfect for the transition between winter and spring, but this colorful short-sleeved one would be so fun for spring and summer!
Shorter dresses were also off limits when I was pregnant thanks to the fact that my belly made all my dresses even shorter! I can’t wait to wear a flirty wrap dress for our first date night post-baby! And as soon as I saw this pretty lilac skirt it shot straight to the top of my spring wishlist!
I also gave up heels while pregnant for the most part. These glittery heels are glamorous, but so low and comfortable that I can wear them even when running around with the kids! Ahh I can’t believe there are two of them now! These kitten heels feel so special that I’ll wear them to brighten up casual outfits!
I find the easiest way to update my wardrobe for a new season is with accessories. This pastel blue handbag is a great shape and is on sale for under $50 this weekend! I normally reach for black or tortoise sunglasses like this pair I’ve worn a bunch lately, but I thought these pastel sunglasses were so fun! A great headband, bandana, or hair scarf are easy ways to style my hair on busy mornings. And this skinny belt is perfect for accentuating my waist in flowy dresses. Especially not that I have a waist again lol!
