March Edit: Spring Break Style
As much as I love getting to spend everyday with my sweet baby Corinna and hanging out at the house with my little Augustine and Matthew, I’m getting a bit of cabin fever. Especially with Spring Break season around the corner! It has been awhile since I’ve been on vacation, and am really starting to crave the warm sunshine and the beach! My post on Julia Dzafic’s Perfect day in Fairfield, Connecticut this week really sparked my wanderlust after reading about her charming New England coastal town! Would so love to be joining her on her morning beach walks right about now!
However, since I am stuck inside being a busy mama, the best I can do is to pick some of my favorite spring break style items that you’d find in my suitcase if I was about jet set off on vacation! For starters, I always make sure to have a bright travel luggage tag tied on my bag {it makes it easier to find your suitcase at baggage claim!} and a cute passport holder in hand!
After I’d land in my dream destination {dying for a beach vacay right about now}, I’d immediately be putting on this adorable retro floral one piece swimsuit. It’s perfect for spring time, with a trendy 90’s inspired neckline and fun floral print. And of course, I would be sure to bring my favorite aviator sunnies to wear while I lay out on the beach.
Sandals are also a must on vacation! These simple and chic white slip ons would definitely be a staple in my spring break style wardrobe! This wrap top is an ideal breezy vacation top that doubles as a cover up for when you’re heading back to the hotel or vacation house! I love the puff sleeve and lightweight look. I think you could definitely pull this top off with some cute jeans too! To match the vintage feel, check out this faux leather belt to pair with jeans {always love Madewell’s jeans!}.
After laying out on the beach, it’s time for some shopping! My ideal outfit for strolling around any vacation town would be this comfy midi denim dress. I love the button up front and retro feel! For accessories, I’ve picked out the cutest oval hoop earrings and woven straw hand bag! To top it off, I’d add a bit of eyeshadow from NARS Voyageur Eyeshadow Palette. I love the warm and sunny vacation inspired shades. Plus, it’s miniature and lightweight. The perfect addition to my travel makeup bag!
Once evening comes and it’s time for a romantic sunset dinner, I’d dress up my spring break style outfit by adding this beautiful gold layer chain necklace!
I love day dreaming about the perfect spring break adventure, but in the meantime, I’ll be here hanging out in pajamas cuddling with baby girl. I hope you all have an amazing Spring Break if you have plans to travel!
