I love these corduroy pants from Madewell! - M Loves M @marmar

Corduroy has been all over stores lately and I am so on board for this trend. You can find corduroy pants, overalls, shirts, and even hair ties! It may seem a bit overboard, but I’m ready to start incorporating corduroy into my fall outfits.

Corduroy: A Versatile Fall Trend

jacket {only a few sizes left!} . turtleneck {my staple turtleneck!} . pants here & here {so comfortable and love the cord material!} . heelsbag . sunglasses {I had the 50mm size before and this size is SO much more flattering on my face. I’m obsessed with them!} .

One of the first styles that I fell in love with are these corduroy pants. They are so versatile and can work for the office, a night out with friends, or a date night. Currently I am loving pairs from Everlane and Madewell. Both pairs fit well, are warm, and look good on any body type.

If you gravitate more towards neutrals like me, then you would love these pants from Anthropologie. I thought they looked so French when paired with a black and white striped shirt! And of course ballet flats are very Parisian, but who knew you could pick up a corduroy pair from Madewell! I love this pair because of the sensible heel, they add some height, but are also short enough for busy days. I thought this cross body bag looked quite French thanks to it’s pretty chain strap. A small bag is such an easy way to incorporate this trend!

Another style that I love is mixing corduroy and colors. I absolutely fell in love with this cute tank from Madewell that of course comes in corduroy. If you’re from Southern California, then you know how hot it can be, even in the fall! And doesn’t this mauve pink blouse from Nordstrom look perfect for the holidays? I love the subtle sheen. This blouse can be dressed up or down with fun accessories or a comfortable skirt or jeans. Continuing the pink trend, this button up skirt in pale pink from Anthropologie is so adorable and can be a great transitional piece that would work for fall and spring. It’s a more neutral pink, so it can be paired well with tights, as is, or with a cream or white blouse.

The next trend that I have been loving takes it back to the seventies! This retro trend is so cute for fall and I have loved seeing high waisted corduroy pants, button up mini skirts, and fall hues such as rust, chartreuse, and baby blues in these pieces. One of the pants that I have been loving recently is this pair from Nordstrom. I love the color that they come in along with the flare leg and button details. They would look lovely with a chunky sweater or striped turtleneck, which is so perfect for a crisp day! And what could be more retro than a mini skirt?!

I also found corduroy tote bags, hair ties, and boots! These accessories are a low key way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. Besides accessories, other items that I have been loving are dresses and coats! These items are easy to throw on if you catch yourself running out the door for work or an event.

Are you as crazy about this fall trend as I am?? Do you think corduroy shoes and bags are too trendy or super cool? I’ve also been loving these wide leg jeans for fall if you like that style too!
