I do a decent amount of shopping over Thanksgiving weekend every year. Usually in my pajamas and on the computer. I can barely get us all to the mall on a normal day, let alone on one as crazy as Black Friday. Some of the best deals are online anyways! Of course, I’ve been planning my purchases already. Keep reading to see what’s on my Black Friday shopping list!
What’s On My Black Friday Shopping List
I am planning on getting a lot of clothes for Augustine and Corinna at Old Navy! Last year I bought a bunch for Augustine since it was 60% off and he’s been wearing them still! We’ve moved up sizes so it will be out with the old and in with the new! Augustine has been OBSESSED with bears lately, so I think he would love this cute bear sweater. And this snowman onesie would be too cute for Corinna!
My phone case is a little worse for wear and I really love the customizable options from The Daily Edited. The only problem is, I’m not sure which colors and fonts to choose! Right now I’m partial to this sporty stripe design. I seriously spent about 2 hours on the site looking the other day. Hoping they have a good deal on Black Friday!
If I’m going to splurge on an item this season, it will be this weekend when almost everything is on sale. I recently splurged on my dream bag, but I’ve also been looking for a great tote bag that I can take with me everywhere. One that will hopefully withstand some wear. I’m hoping this chic style will be on sale! Or this preppy one! But I also really love this tortoise shell tote bag from Madewell. Everyone loves the Madewell Transport Tote and this version seems so easy to clean and is under $60! I really like that you can add monograms to some of their tote bags, that would make for such a perfect gift!
Another investment piece I’m hoping to buy this weekend is a pair of over the knee boots. Brown ones specifically! I’d love a pair of the Stuart Weitzman’s so if they’re part of a great sale, maybe I’ll get them.
On a less exciting, but very practical note, I’d like to stock up on some basics. I’m hoping to find deals for my go-to bra and underwear to start! I’ve also been meaning to try a pair of faux leather leggings for a while. These ones from Spanx are always so popular and they’re already on sale which seems like a win win to me.
Of course, I want to pick up a few things for our home. A longer bread knife like this one would be a great addition to our kitchen. We’ve been getting larger loaves of bread lately and a longer knife would make it so much easier to cut! Anthropologie always does 30% off the entire store and I really love their home styles. Last year, I finally grabbed this mirror which had been on my wishlist for years and I am so happy with how it looks in our living room. This year, I’m thinking about picking up some festive champagne coups for our upcoming holiday party, a lush table runner, and of course one or two of their famous Capri candles! I’m also thinking about getting a larger cutting board / cheese board for holiday entertaining. I’ve been so inspired by the beautiful set ups I’ve seen on Instagram and want to give the trend a try.
I don’t love buying workout clothing when it’s full-priced. I work out at home so no one even sees mine! Free People has some really cute sets you can mix and match. I really like this high waisted legging and the matching sports bra. The leggings have great reviews! I just can’t decide between the colors “desert dune” and “rose water”.
Last year holiday cards from Minted were on my Black Friday shopping list, but I ordered them earlier this year. If you haven’t ordered yours yet, Minted has the cutest holiday cards on sale this weekend. I love how much you can customize them, from the font choices to the liners and even the stamps! I also want to get started on my holiday shopping for my girlfriends. I’m thinking about getting personalized makeup bags for all of them. I included these bags in my gift guide for the ladies in your life, but there are some other really good ideas on there too! A lush blanket is also a really good gift to stock up on. I love all the color choices available for this under $40 option!
