As tempting as leggings and a tee are, I typically like to dress a bit more polished just in case we run into any neighbors or friends from our mommy and me group {which happens nearly every time we leave the house lol!}. My perfect park day look is casual but put together, all while still being functional for an afternoon of fun! I always go for a pair of denim that is comfortable to move in for when I’m active with the little ones. I love pairing jeans with a nice top, something a bit looser fitting that I can tuck into my jeans or tie up at the bottom for some extra detail.

My jeans are true to size and are so flattering. This is my first pair of AGOLDE jeans and they are so worth the hype. I LOVE them! The material is thick, but still has a good stretch. I really like how it hits at the ankles {I’m 5’5″ for reference} too! The shirt I’m wearing is so incredibly soft and comfortable. This style is designed to wear tied or un-tied, the choice is yours! The fit is slightly oversized, but I’m wearing my true size. Also, major bonus points, because the top is nursing-friendly too!

The next and maybe the most important part of my outfit, are stylish sneakers that I can easily play in and don’t mind if they get a little dirty! You’ve seen me wear these sneakers before, and I am still reaching for them a lot. I went for the all white pair for a really classic look. I love a classic pair of white sneakers that go with anything, but sometimes fun styles really finish off the look such as sneaker wedges, a slight platform, or even a fun pattern such as cheetah print!

Finally, before heading out, I make sure to grab my tote bag. It’s perfect to fill with snacks and other park day essentials for the kids, throw over my shoulder, and then we are off!! You probably saw me talk about why this tote bag, in particular, is so amazing last week, so if you’re looking for a new leather tote, definitely go check out that post! The fact that mine is a crossbody bag makes it perfect for busy days are the park.

P.S. how cute are these sunglasses?? I love how these are slightly more oversized than the classic 50mm. I feel like it’s a more flattering silhouette for my face shape. I hope this post helped you figure out what to wear to the park with your kids!
