Recently I have been really embracing a modern romantic style, it’s just so effortless yet very feminine. I found a few pieces that are perfect to add into your wardrobe to build romantic inspired styles each day.
How I’m Embracing Modern Romance In My Style
For this outfit I started with a black blousy top that is super comfortable and can be worn totally casual if you wish. I paired my top with a pair of dark denim jeans, I feel like you can’t ever go wrong with a dark wash since it always looks classy. I wanted to keep my look more neutral based so I chose this tan knit cardigan which is also lightweight so it is perfect for summer evenings.
Don’t forget your accessories, they seriously are the simplest way to add to any look. I went with these adorable little cz studs that are super easy to wear with basically anything. I also added a more casual pair of black faux leather slide on sandals. I know I will get a ton of use out of these slide ons and they can be paired with jeans, shorts or even a cute casual dress. Finally I picked this adorable rope bag that is so fun and unique, and easy to toss your phone and wallet in too!
To create a modern romantic wardrobe, I tend to go for more effortless pieces that are neutral tones so they match a wide variety of things. These tan linen drawstring shorts are a great summer staple and this light brown belted dress is so flattering.
Denim is a must of course, I have been finding denim styles that have a bit more detailing on them, these flared jeans are fun with the high-waist and raw hem. I also really loved these wide leg belted jeans in a dark wash, the built in belt is very unique and adds just a little more to any outfit. This puffy sleeve blouse is also another great piece and would be super cute paired with a pair of white flared jeans as well, casual but still chic. Another trend that has been very popular this season and is easy to pair with is snakeskin, I love the neutral tones and the pattern isn’t too loud. This snakeskin blouse is fun and the bell sleeves are totally cute for a night out. If you are feeling a little more bold you could try a pair of snakeskin denim, with a solid black blouse!
