Here's some interior design inspiration! - M Loves M @marmar

My home office is one of my favorite rooms in the whole house! I’m absolutely obsessed with how it turned out – so feminine and fun – so I thought I’d share my home office decor items! BTW, this is what my office looked like in our old house! It took a bit longer than I would have liked to get this room together, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. Keep reading to see my favorite home office decor pieces!

I think the best place to start with any office is with the desk, since that’s where most of the work takes place! I love a long wooden desk that has an antique feel, and the drawers for storage are such a bonus! For my office, I loved to accessorize with gold pieces, like this gold chair, this pencil holder, and even the pens themselves! I think that the gold accents really make it feel put together. What better way to make an office feel feminine than with a bold pink rug?! I love the way the rug makes the room feel so vibrant! While the one I have isn’t available anymore, there’s a similar rug that’s a little bit lighter shade, but still sooo cute! Some of the other statement pieces in my office are my full length mirror and green velvet ottoman.

For artwork, I wanted to keep it both feminine and bold. I think that these black and white abstract prints are sooo cool! Then, I added a floral piece and a set of botanical prints – art really ties a room together so much. We used to have these botanical prints in our dining room at our last house, so I was so happy to find a spot for them here. For final details, I added some really fun pieces like a garment rack, wicker storage bins, and a small plush rug! Oh, and don’t forget your office supplies! Calendars, tool organizers, and business card holders are a few that I make sure to have in my office – getting work done efficiently, but in style!!
