As much as I love to get out of the house, we’re still trying to be selective about our outings. Even pre-pandemic, it wasn’t all that tempting to run too many errands with our little ones in tow. As cute as they can be, you never know how an errand is going to play out! Just ask any mom who has to get multiple kids in and out of car seats to pick up one. little. thing! I just signed up for a new membership that I had to share with you all because it’s a game changer no matter which stage of life you’re in, but especially for those in motherhood land!
The New Membership We’ve become OBSESSED with!
I’ve become a frequent Walmart shopper over the last several years since we have a store that’s super close to us. When I heard they launched Walmart+ I knew it would be worth checking out because Walmart has a way of just making things extra easy and convenient. Walmart+ is a different kind of membership that can save you 2.5 hours per week with their free unlimited delivery option, with a minimum purchase of only $35 (although some restrictions apply. Savings based on 3 store trips per week. Excludes time spent shopping online) Walmart’s delivery is a great way to get the things you need, from groceries to that one little thing, at their everyday low prices. Honestly, this will be a dream for anyone who’s eligible to get this benefit!
In the midst of our packing and moving process, Walmart+ has been a LIFESAVER for both myself and Matthew, who is usually the one who runs our errands. They have a very convenient mobile scan & go feature which makes in-store shopping super fast, easy , and contact-free. Life has been extra busy lately so I love that I can go to my local Walmart store, check out with my phone as I shop in store, pay, and head out! We’ve been loading up on extra boxes, along with packing tape and these great cubes for storing and protecting glasses. Augustine has needed some extra entertainment while we’ve been packing up the house, so I thought it would be fun to pick up one of my favorite childhood games. He has LOVED it, and it’s easy to play along with him while I’m packing. I also got some kettle corn that I immediately regretted because it’s so good. I honestly ate the entire bag in less than 3 hours. Matthew was like, “Didn’t you pick up popcorn too??” Oops! Other things in my last haul: balloons {favorites for C and A} and bottled water since we like to keep it on hand for emergencies. We also ordered some diapers and wipes because…mom/baby life! Oh and our favorite natural toothpaste! Augustine loves this one.
There have been so many times I’ve planned to cook a dish and then realize that I am missing one of the ingredients! Since Walmart is nearby, I can easily run to the store and use mobile scan & go to grab the ingredients. And, I can still take advantage of grocery pickup to order the ingredients I need from my phone and pick them up at the store so I’m ready to cook the same day. Walmart has almost every grocery item you could want!
Since Matthew and I are both working from home right now, it’s nice to be able to have quick solutions when we need supplies. Say your computer randomly shut down and stopped working but you need it to work or study! Walmart has made it so easy to get a fast replacement. They have a large selection of different laptops, including this smaller laptop which is just under $200.
I hate to admit this, but I think one of the most common things that happens to us all is forgetting to shop for a present until the last minute. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed to get last minute gifts! Oops! I love this burt bees gift set, it is the perfect gift for anyone into beauty, and it’s under $10! This Philosophy gift set is so nice too! Gift shopping has been extra hard with so many stores being closed, so I know I’ll be leaning on Walmart+ to help me get last minute gifts during the holiday season.
