I am seriously so obsessed with My Perfect Day series because I’m learning about so many cool spots to visit that I hadn’t considered before! I am seriously ready to do a Texas road trip! I crave more country in my life!

It’s been a little while since the last My Perfect Day feature but I am so excited because we’re starting the year off with my dear friend Caroline Harper Knapp, the founder of HOUSE of HARPER. Caroline and I have been friends for years and have even traveled together, so I just knew she would have the best recommendations for how to spend the perfect day in Houston, Texas! She is one the sweetest people and I always wish we lived closer because she’s the kind of girl you can just be yourself with. Today we have another installment of my “My Perfect Day” series and I am so excited about this one! Liz Adams of Hello Adams Family {formerly Sequins & Stipes} is sharing her perfect day in Chicago, Illinois, including some really yummy food recommendations. I’ve hung out with Liz several times in New York City and also Dallas, but now I’m dying to visit her in Chicago. I took a brief work trip  to Chicago several years back and LOVED it. I actually wasn’t expecting to love it as much as I did but I was just so impressed with how beautiful {and clean!} the city was, and all the amazing food options. I’ve always wanted to go back with Matthew to explore the city more and luckily I’ll have Liz’s guide on hand when I do!
