This is the first year that Augustine has memories of the previous holiday season. It’s been so fun reminiscing with him and seeing him get excited for this year. I can’t wait to make some more holiday memories with him and Corinna, so I thought I would share how I’m making the holidays memorable for my kids!
Now that I’ve traveled with two kids ages three and 6 months, I feel like I can tackle any travel problems that come my way! Well kinda! I’m no pro, but I’m definitely a little more confident about the whole situation. I am so beyond thrilled that Augustine has inherited my love of books. I was an English major and reading has always been a big part of my life. I can’t wait to share my favorite books with Augustine and Corinna as they get older. One holiday tradition I loved was reading special holiday books each year. My mom would bring them out from our hallway closet at the beginning of December and my brother and I would rush to find our favorites. Last Christmas, Matthew and I picked up some classic and new holiday books for Augustine and he was so excited to read them again this year. It’s also been interesting seeing which ones he remembers!
