How can I girl like me resist a midi skirt? And a STRIPED MIDI SKIRT at that? Nope, impossible! I paired this skirt with a cozy PALE PINK SWEATER and some SCALLOPED SANDALS. It might not be that warm out yet, but at least I can wear open-toed shoes! Who else is ready for spring?
This week went by super quickly. I’m excited to see some old friends from college tomorrow night and I’m planning on doing some recipe testing on Sunday. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a baking day so I’m really looking forward to it. Have a great weekend everyone!
I love my Shoshanna dresses {this neon peach one was a favorite over the summer}, and the thicker material on this particular mini is great for fall. It would be really cute with black tights and over-the-knee boots too! Or even layered with a thin turtleneck underneath. The other week I paired it with these sparkly heeled ankle booties and a unique, long necklace. A white, or gray, coat would have been a good match but I couldn’t resist adding in a little more pink for a slightly monochromatic look. This pink double-breasted coat from Tulle has been one of my favorites. I keep wearing it! It always adds a fun feel to whatever outfit I’m wearing.
I hope you all are having a great Monday! Have you been shopping the Cyber Monday and Black Friday Sales? I’ve been finding things for family members, and adding to my own wish list as I go! Isn’t that always how it happens?
You guys, I have found a new favorite combo… pink and leopard! I realized it the other week with this outfit, and now I might be borderline obsessed because I wore this outfit and I’m already planning another. Animal prints sometimes make you think of bold, strong colors, but I love the idea of pairing them with pale pastels. This rosy pink coat is one of my new favorites. It’s going to give a girly touch to all of my cold-weather outfits! I paired it with this draped-front leopard print dress from Vince Camuto. The animal print is a little more sophisticated than most {if that makes sense}, and it looks super chic in this silky material. I paired it with these black sandals that I’ve been wearing nonstop {see them here and here}. This would be a great outfit to wear to work and then dinner with friends afterwards.
What do you guys think about the pink + leopard combo? Would you wear it? I’m thinking I might have to broaden this to a pastel + leopard combo because how cute would a mint coat be with animal print?! Yeah, I might need to try that one too!
Happy Wednesday everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by!
