Jewelry is so special to me. Not only is it beautiful visually, but there can be so much love behind our favorite pieces. Wedding rings obviously come to mind, but necklaces can be passed down through the generations, or a special bracelet can symbolize love or friendship. I am so beyond thrilled that Augustine has inherited my love of books. I was an English major and reading has always been a big part of my life. I can’t wait to share my favorite books with Augustine and Corinna as they get older. One holiday tradition I loved was reading special holiday books each year. My mom would bring them out from our hallway closet at the beginning of December and my brother and I would rush to find our favorites. Last Christmas, Matthew and I picked up some classic and new holiday books for Augustine and he was so excited to read them again this year. It’s also been interesting seeing which ones he remembers!
