Valentine’s Day is 3 days away and while I know the typical date night ideas include dinner and a movie, I thought it might be fun to share some other options. Since Matthew and I are planning on keeping things simple this year, I was trying to come up with something that would still be fun and memorable to do. I think we will end up celebrating on Friday or Saturday night, or maybe throughout the weekend because why not?! We probably won’t be having a date night for awhile! Here are some date night ideas that hopefully give you some inspiration for what to do with your special someone on Valentine’s Day, or any old day really!

For the past couple of years, I’ve tried to take time off over the holidays and it’s always something I look forward to and greatly appreciate- especially now with Augustine. While I love creating content for you, I think taking a break every now and then, especially during this time of year, is so beneficial. With that said, I do have a couple of posts planned but I’ll be back kicking it into full gear the first week of January.

Happy week before Christmas!! Be honest, does that make you excited or stressed to hear that Christmas is so soon?? I truly hope you all are enjoying the holiday season and staying as stress-free as possible. I know it’s easier said than done, though, right? This year I really feel like we’ve been able to enjoy the holiday season and stay present, or maybe more present than normal. It’s not many years it’s like this, though, but I do think it has to do with a few things. Since I know some of you might be feeling overwhelmed, I hoped writing this post about how to stay present during the holidays would come at the right time.
