Galentine’s Day Gift Guide: Under $25

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I think Galentine’s Day might be more fun than Valentine’s Day! Let’s face it, men don’t always appreciate this sweet holiday, but most of my girlfriends do. I think it’s so fun to plan a Galentine’s Day brunch, get dressed up for a night on the town together, or to exchange little gifts. I don’t think you need to spend a ton of money on Galentine’s Day, but it can be really nice to surprise your favorite gal with a thoughtful, but affordable gift! Which is why I made a Galentine’s Day gift guide where everything is under $25. That way you can treat your bestie, work wife, or mom without breaking the bank!

Let’s start with something sweet. It is Valentine’s Day after all! You know those crazy good, but crazy expensive, champagne gummy bears?? Well, I found the cutest affordable alternative! This generous sized tub of prosecco flavored gummy bears is only $5! And a pretty chocolate bar will always be appreciated. For the champagne lover, gift her this adorable set of champagne cocktail mixers or some pretty glassware.

You can also step in and gift the things you know her guy won’t get right lol! Like a trendy piece of jewelry or a really cool bottle of perfume from a brand he would never discover on his own. Not to mention lingerie she’ll actually want to wear on a regular day!

If you have a lot of gals you want to give gifts to, when you break up this set of candles (this seems on theme for V-Day right??), each candle ends up being only $16! Don’t forget to send a Galentine’s card to your favorite girls who live far away!

Gift Guide: Last Minute Gifts

We’ve all been there. It’s a few days until Christmas, but you still have a gift or two left on your list to find. It’s a hectic time of year so don’t be too hard on yourself! And whatever you do, don’t rush out to a crowded mall. Not when Amazon Prime can come to the rescue with their free 2-day shipping. I had a package come in less than 24 hours the other day! So if you’re really feeling crunched for time, you can search for last minute gifts that come with free same day shipping. Amazon can be a bit of a beast, so I did some digging to find the best gifts that were all available for 2-day or same day shipping. I made sure to include some options for the gals, guys, kids, and even pets in your life!

At this point you all know how much I love my Yeti cup. It is the only reusable water bottle I’ve ever loved. It’s made of stainless steel, is easy to clean, and keeps drinks really hot or really cold for hours. If you’re not sure what to get someone, this is such an easy and helpful gift! Fun cocktail mixers or specialty chocolate will also do the trick when you’re unsure what to gift someone.

If you’re looking for a larger gift, a luxurious pair of pajamas or a great kitchen gadget are the way to go in my opinion. Probably because I love both of those things! Or you could gift this really cool vintage looking speaker. Perfect for the couple who feels strongly about home decor!

I also found some really unique gifts that would knock anyone’s socks off. Like this neat alarm clock that wakes you up with light {an audible alarm goes off later as a backup!}. It would be a great gift for anyone who is not a morning person. I’m actually thinking it would be good for Augustine to try. He doesn’t understand when he wakes up early if he should start his day or try to go back to sleep {which is why we are up at 5 am a lot!}. I thought we might be able to teach him that if the light hasn’t come on yet, he needs to try to go back to bed.

For the book lover or the girl who likes neat home decor pieces, this floating book shelf is too cool! And how gorgeous is this clear tea pot?? I think I found some pretty cool last minute gifts that you can grab ASAP!

If you’re looking for smaller gift items like stocking stuffers or modest gifts for the helpers in your life {teacher, babysitter, hair stylist, mail carrier, etc.} I’ve included a few fun and affordable ideas from Amazon that you can swipe though above!

Making the Holidays Memorable for Kids + A Gift Guide

December 12, 2019

Making the holidays memorable for kids! - M Loves M @marmar

This is the first year that Augustine has memories of the previous holiday season. It’s been so fun reminiscing with him and seeing him get excited for this year. I can’t wait to make some more holiday memories with him and Corinna, so I thought I would share how I’m making the holidays memorable for my kids!
