The holidays are an incredibly busy time and while we can be so focused on our ever-growing To Do list, it’s important to make time for yourself. It’s not always easy, or possible, but if you can schedule some time to relax, you’ll be in a much better state of mind! Treating yourself might mean spending the night in with your favorite movie, or it might be heading out to get hot chocolate with your best friend. Here are some of my favorite ways to treat yourself during the holidays, on a night in and a night out.

Let’s Get You Holiday Ready!
I have been sharing a lot recently about my living and style-prep ideas to get you ready for the holiday season. Now that we are well into fall and the holidays are fast approaching, I want to let the gals, who may not feel so prepared, know that they’re not alone!
Head over to LOFT.com for a virtual styling session with…me!! LOFT and I are here to help you style the perfect outfits for any holiday occasion- in a matter of minutes! First, head to LOFT and let me know what basic items you have in your closet. Then, I’ll make some outfits for you using those basics and my favorite picks from LOFT. I’ll also include some tips on how to complete the look. If you’re looking for some holiday outfit ideas, you’re going to love this!
Here are a few of my favorite looks to get you started: A jeans and cardigan outfit can be a great look for a casual day running errands, but you could also dress it up if need be. I picked this black blouse from LOFT in a subtle plaid print to pair with my dark-wash jeans. I love that the print is festive and perfect for nighttime, plus the ruffled hem adds a feminine touch! Throw on a statement necklace and a pair of heels, and you’ll be dressed up and comfortable!

Now, for dressing down a dress: This baroque print dress is stunning on its own, but to add a casual element, I layered a turtleneck underneath. The turtleneck makes the look more accessible for everyday wear, while also adding an extra layer of warmth. Then I threw on a beanie and a pair of ankle boots to really dress it down. Now you have a dress that will look great for those holiday parties, but also for those casual days where you just want to be cute and comfy!
