This week I’ve had fall on the brain, especially since it’s now the first of August {yikes!}. I really want to invest in a chic fall hat and this menswear-inspired one would go with everything. I really love how it looks on the model! In the transitional period where it’s still too hot for boots, these cut-out booties would be a nice choice! They’d look great with breezy dresses or cropped and distressed jeans. Lately I’ve been wearing a few delicate necklaces at a time {see today’s outfit post} but when I saw this pre-layered necklace I was sold. Love that it won’t get as tangled and will always stay perfectly in place! This Elizabeth and James perfume is a new obsession of mine. I smelled it the other day and seriously had to hunt down the girl to ask which one it was. There was some thought that it was one of Tom Fords perfumes but nope it was confirmed as this feminine and sophisticated Elizabeth & James scent. I told you I’m obsessed with perfumes!

What are your plans this weekend? I’m celebrating my best friends bday tomorrow and also doing a little cleaning and closet purging. I’ve been trying to stay on top of getting rid of the clothes I don’t wear anymore {mainly because the husband keeps saying I’m cutting into his side of the closet} and I usually sell to Crossroads in LA. I don’t think I have time to make it to one of their stores this weekend but I just found out they have a cool sell by mail option where you request a bag from their site (with a pre-paid postage label on it!) and fill it with clothes you’d like to sell. You can choose either cash or trade credit which is awesome. Soo that’s what I’ll be doing. I think I’ll be requesting a few bags though! haha! I’m also going to be doing some packing because Matthew and I are heading on a little family vacation next week. We’re going to a lake so I’m hoping I can work on my summer list. I have a third book to read and that real tan needs to happen! Have a great one everyone! See ya Monday!
