Going to the grocery store is one of my favorite errands, especially when it means going to Trader Joe’s. Anyone else obsessed with that store? I get most of our fresh produce from Whole Foods or the Farmer’s Market because it’s a little fresher, but Trader Joe’s has such good staples, not to mention their ‘Trader Joe’s Only” products. Velvet Wrap Dress + 10 Questions

I couldn’t help bringing this velvet dress out over the weekend. Velvet is one of my favorite materials – so soft and gives a hint of luxury. This would be a gorgeous dress to wear to a fall/winter wedding, or really any event. While it has a fancy look to it, don’t be fooled, this dress is incredibly comfortable. I hate those dresses that you feel awkward in all night, like you’re wearing a costume. The ones that make you feel slightly uncomfortable and not like yourself. This dress is not any of those things. If anything, I felt like it was a dress you’d wear home from an event and want to go to sleep in. That’s how comfortable it is. Grilling Tips for Summer

Summer is our favorite time to be outside! During the day we want to be at the park or the beach, soaking up that beautiful California sunshine. After we put Augustine to bed, it’s still light outside, so we take the opportunity to be outside just the two of us. Today Matthew is sharing his top grilling tips for summer, along with our go-to easy summer dinner.
