I’m a sucker for Gorjana jewelry, and these MINI SHIMMER STUDS are soo cute! I love how tiny they are! Why is everything so cute in small sizes?
I don’t know about you but I am so ready to put away all my chunky sweaters. If I have to wear a sweater I want it to be a THIN, LONG-SLEEVE CASHMERE SWEATER like this one! The color is versatile and would be a great choice for spring. I’d wear them with some HIGH RISE SKINNY JEANS or a pretty skirt!
STUDDED FLATS are super cute, but when you don’t have all the $$ to spend on the Rockstuds, these would be great. They come in some great color options and you really can’t go wrong!
It’s going to be a rainy weekend for us in LA and you know I am excited! I’m heading to J.Crew to hunt this MINT ANORAK down. It’s the perfect light pastel shade and I’ve found myself kind of ill-equipped for rain. I lived in Seattle for two years and don’t know what happened to all my rainy day gear. It must be somewhere..
Happy happy Friday everyone!! This weekend I have the house to myself and I’m kind of excited! I’m going to miss Matthew but sometimes weekends alone can be soo nice. I’m going to stay up late, drink wine, watch Gilmore Girls {I’m on Season 5 in case you’re interested in how I’ve powered through it the past month! #obsessed #reobsessed #lukeandlolelai}. So yeah, it’s going to be pretty exciting and eventful! What are you guys up to? Share share share! Especially if it involved watching Gilmore Girls from the beginning!
Rainy days are my favorite! When I moved to Seattle after high school everyone was like, “Oh gosh the rain is awful.” It was actually one of the things I was looking forward to most, though. This may have to do with one of my favorite musicals being Singing in the Rain, but I think it also was because rainy days were a rare occurrence growing up. I always looked forward to them, and wanted them to last way longer than they did. When Matthew and I were dating we had the most amazing rainy winter but I feel like we haven’t had a year like that since. I have my fingers crossed for this winter though. Considering we had 3 days of rain in the past week I think things are looking good! Here’s what I wore on a recent rainy day in LA: a white belted coat, the cutest mauve rain boots and an eyeglass-print umbrella!
Feeling super excited for the weekend. I’m going to try to get everything done before Christmas next week! {Gosh that came up quickly!} Matthew and I should probably watch a holiday movie this weekend but that means I’ll have to tear myself away from Gilmore Girls. The whole series is on Netflix now {!} so I’m rewatching it from the beginning. There are probably better uses of my time but I seriously love that show. My mom and I used to watch it when I was in high school and it brings back good memories.
Perfume is one of my weaknesses and every season I look for a new scent. I was recently in Nordstrom and finally got my hands on the new BURBERRY perfume My Burberry. It’s inspired by a London garden after a rainy day. Rain is my favorite type of weather, which is a big surprise to some people. I look forward to it all year long! This perfume captures that scent perfectly though and reminds me of this one afternoon I spent at a local nursery while I was living in Seattle. There’s the smell of roses, sweet peas and freesia anchored by geranium. It’s feminine but a little earthy. Now I’m just craving a trip to London to smell the British rain!
Wearing a perfume like this one makes me want to dress in cozy cable knits, perfectly worn-in denim, and fall {& British!} prints like plaid! Perfume frequently has that affect on me..making me dress in a certain way. Does that happen to you too? Do you ever find yourself wearing light, airy dresses with soft floral scents, or black, slightly edgy dresses with rich and musky scents? It must be the sign of a perfume addict..haha!
