Fall is on My Mind

October 24, 2013

Whenever there’s a change in season I feel like I go
shopping crazy. Especially since I live in LA, where it feels like summer most
months, it’s nice when the temperatures start to drop. Lately I’ve been using
eBay’s Collections
to keep all my shoppable inspiration items in one place. Whenever there’s
something I’m wanting, but don’t want to pay the full price tag, I’ll do a
little search and see what I can find. Often times I get a crazy score {hello
$40 Prada dress!} and no one would even know! Right now I have fall on the
brain! So leather, fall hats, and geometric prints are at the top of my list.
Leather is a cold-weather essential, and this season I’ve
been loving all the colored leather. You know that my style tends to be a
little more feminine, so to find leather pieces in softer styles has been the
best. I’m particularly loving leather in peplum and pleated styles, as well as
longer lengths! I’ve curated the Leather
Have Some Fun Collection
of items I’ve currently got my eyes on. One trick
with styling leather is to balance it with pieces that are more romantic and
sophisticated. I love the idea of pairing a fitted leather skirt with a floral
or polka dotted blouse. Or to find a leather dress with scalloped details, or
lace trim, would be amazing!
I’m one of those people that struggles between not being a
hat person but desperately wanting to be. Especially during the fall season, I
crave finding the perfect wide brim wool hat. I think it looks so effortlessly
chic with skinny jeans, a chunky sweater and a pair of boots! I’ve put the
above Collection
together with some of my favorites!

Geometric prints are classic yet stylish. I love the 70’s-inspired styles, especially because they would look great with one of the hats above! Geometric prints are a unique staple that every woman should own!
