Do you ever have days where you just want to jump in a boat and sail away? Sometimes you want to get away from something and other times you’re headed in a new direction. Lately I’ve been feeling the need because of both. I’ve been desperately craving a vacation to explore somewhere new {hey, even familiar, I’ll take it!}, and step back from work, blogging, and pretty much any and all technology. I can’t believe I haven’t had a real vacation since 2012! Can you believe it? Matthew, we gotta change that asap!
This navy and white dress immediately makes me think of a summertime getaway. Can’t you picture it on a white sandy beach? The dress has a nautical feel that can be dressed up, or dressed down, thanks to its pockets. Aren’t dresses with pockets the best thing ever? Perfect in case I change my mind and do want a phone or camera around on my getaway.

What are you all up to this weekend? I have a belated bday brunch with some of my best friends tomorrow {yay!} and then Sunday Matthew and I are going to the beach. I’m bolding it because it’s happening. I have a list to stick to after all!
