This outfit has a slightly nautical feel. It reminds me of an outfit I’d wear to a party in the Hamptons! I say that because I just finished Revenge the other night, and it’s set in the Hamptons, an east coast beach town that I would love to visit one day. The Hamptons are known for being an idyllic spot to vacation during the warm summer months, especially if you live in New York City. I can’t believe Revenge is over, though! I remember binge watching with Matthew at our first apartment. There was so much drama and it was incredibly entertaining. Now I guess I’ll have to get my soap opera drama from shows like Scandal. Do you watch that one?
You know I’m a fan of longer-length skirts, so it’s no surprise I love this blue and white striped midi. A detail that sets this one apart from the others is that it has a pretty handkerchief hem that flows when you walk. Also, the high-waist allows you to wear a crop top. This bustier-style top has faux-leather straps {which you can’t really tell through the photos} but it’s a nice touch! I was going for a blue and white scheme by adding in my white pointy-toed heels and white sunglasses, but I loved the pop of green with this Kate Spade purse. This bag is still going everywhere with me!

Happy Friday everyone! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I’m heading down to Costa Mesa tomorrow for a fun day with my sister-in-laws and the new SIL to be! We’re going to get manicures, eat ice cream and feast on Italian food. I’ve been having a major bread & olive oil craving so I’m super excited!
