I never shy away from a print so usually I end up with a ton of patterns in my closet. Sooner or later, I know I’m going to have to print mix. Instead of looking at it as a challenge though, I end up having fun with it! How to print mix during spring is one of my favorite games, and it can actually be easier than you think!

If you’re ever nervous about print mixing though I say make sure one print is a stripe. Print mixing with stripes makes everything so much easier! I like pairing skinny stripes with bolder and bigger prints, like the pineapples in these mustard shorts. The pineapples are actually a blue color so they tie in nicely with the blue stripe in the top. A black striped top would work well too though because, as you probably know, black goes with everything!

I hope you all have a great weekend! It’s been so wonderful being in Hawaii this week that I don’t want it to end. We’ve gone swimming and snorkeling, but mainly we’re just enjoying not having anything to do! Vacations are so good for the soul!
