So I feel like I’ve talked a bunch about my love for fall {the change of weather, the rich colors, the overall feel}. As much as I’ve been loving wearing plaid, black floppy hats, suede jackets, and burgundy dresses with over-the-knee boots, I can’t help but reach for lighter colors in my closet. They just speak to me, regardless of the season. Yes, baby blue might seem more appropriate for spring, but hey, I think you can totally wear it in fall! And light blue during the winter, against a snowy backdrop preferably, always looks so so pretty! Today I styled this scalloped blue dress with a beige wool coat with a faux fur jacket. In Southern California we can usually get away with no tights, but tights might be a good idea given your weather situation. I can’t have you freezing!

Do you ever wear lighter pastel colors during fall and winter? It’s always so hard to pack them up until the following year, so if there are certain pieces I can make work, I keep them out!
I hope you all are having a great week! If you missed my Galaxy Girl Makeup Tutorial yesterday you have to check it out. I was so happy with how it turned out!
