If you look through the archives of my site, you’ll see that I’m a dress girl through and through. They fit my style perfectly because they’re feminine and easy. It’s a one and done outfit as I like to say. The accessories and outerwear are just a bonus!

I’ve been known to wear dresses with heels, sandals, even ankle booties, but a new go-to combo is styling a dress with sneakers. Today I’m sharing how to style a dress with sneakers for spring. Hopefully it will give you some outfit inspiration for a feminine and super comfy outfit!

One thing I love about this dress is how feminine it is. The floral print and the lace trim are unabashedly girly. While I could have just as easily picked a simple t-shirt dress to style with sneakers {I’ve done it before}, I thought it would be nice to show how to style a dress with sneakers for spring if the dress is more feminine.

First of all, I love a good contrast. While my style is more girly, I sometimes like to edge things up just a bit. Take this outfit for example. I paired this more ladylike dress with an army green utility jacket and a pair of sneakers. I think it works though! The green in the jacket compliments the pattern of the dress and the sneakers have some girly charm to them: they’re metallic rose gold! They’re different and yet they’re complimentary. At least I think so!

One benefit of wearing a dress with sneakers is that you can also take it easily from day to night. Wear the sneakers during the day, and then ditch them for a pretty pair of rose sandal heels at night. I love that this dress will be a versatile one for me this season!

Have a great day everyone and thanks so much for reading!
