How do you guys feel about velvet? I know I posted a recent velvet wrap dress but I couldn’t leave this little number on the hanger for much longer. Velvet is one of my favorite materials because it’s so beautiful, and not to mention cozy soft! There are just too many cute ways to style velvet and I want you all to be prepared for the upcoming holiday season with as many options as possible.
This dress is definitely a velvet and floral combo I couldn’t resist. I love the different textures and the colors work so well together!
And how about my little star bag?! I don’t have many black bags and I thought this would be a fun option to wear!
This has been one of those weeks that has really gone by quickly. Wednesday felt like a Tuesday, so I know today is going to feel like anything but a Thursday. Matthew was out of town for a work event last night and I had a huge list of things to do, mainly anything with two hands. During the day it’s 1. hard to find a good chunk of time to do anything with Augustine crawling around and pulling up on everything and 2. If I can get anything done, it has to be with one hand. I’ve become quite skilled though, let me tell ya! Getting the mail, taking out the trash, picking up toys- so skilled with one hand. But washing dishes, refilling the trash can with a new liner, and folding laundry, not so much! I rely on the bedtime hours for that. So last night I reheated a big bowl of chili and got to work. Having a productive night midweek makes me feel so good! Although give little guy 10 minutes tomorrow and the house will be in shambles again. Story of my life!
Hope you all have the best day today and thanks so much for stopping by!
And, in case you guys missed it, J.Crew is having a SALE with 40% off selected new styles with code YAYCLOTHES. I especially love this cozy pullover sweater and this camo utility jacket, so cute and perfect for cooler weather. Also, LOFT is having a SALE with 40% off everything! This floral blouse is so pretty and how about this cute bell-sleeve dress?!
