Anyone else adding in the outerwear already? I know in Southern California there are many winters where we can skate by without thick layers, but I have a feeling we’ll be needing some this winter. Last year we actually had much colder weather and it made me realize how unprepared I was. Sure, this is no East Coast fall/winter, but our tolerance for cold is much lower on this side of the country.

I got this plaid coat that is such a great outfit topper. I love the addition of plaid {it’s my favorite for adding a print to an outfit, like with this red dress for example}, and the length will totally come in handy. I started looking for some other coat options and found several that are under $250, because I know outerwear can get pricey sometimes. Check them out below!

Coats under $250 You’ll Want to Shop this Fall

I hope you all are having a great week! My brother came over yesterday and helped me run some errands with Augustine. Going and doing the littlest trips can something be a little daunting on my own, so I was really appreciative of his help. Then we got poké with Matthew and sat around playing the most random game. We somehow started playing a “Guess the Diner Lingo” game. I was the one challenging Matthew and Anthony with the diner slang and they would guess what it really meant. There are so many funny terms {e.g. Chicks on a Raft, Gravel Train and Houseboat}, so I helped them out here and there. If you want something fun to do at dinner tonight, you should play! Or do it with friends and have teams. That would be so fun!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
