Happy Good Friday everyone! I’ve been so looking forward to celebrating Easter this year, but to be honest it came up a little faster than I expected. It’s a little earlier than normal, isn’t it?! I can’t remember the last time it was on April 1st. It’s also my brother’s birthday so we’ll be doing lots of celebrating this weekend! It also seems fitting that the weather is warming up. As much as I love gray, rainy days, I feel like Easter Sunday deserves lots of sunshine. Speaking of sunshine, this outfit was made for the spring and summer!
I get so many requests to share casual dress outfits – especially because I wear lots of dresses when we’re out. I thought this outfit could maybe serve as some inspiration for spring and summer days. I love the dress’s natural linen material, the off-the-shoulder style, and of course the stylish buttons. Oh and the length and the price. I feel like this would be a nice dress to bring on vacation too! And then you throw in some cute yellow flats, and I’m a happy girl! Yellow is such a great color to add through an accessory. I have some blonde friends who feel like they can’t pull off yellow, but I usually think a bag or a shoe in that shade would still work!
Whenever I’m by the water, I love to bring a light knit sweater to throw over my shoulders, or around my waist, in case it gets chilly.
