Do you still look through magazines and tear out images that inspire you? Or have you moved onto Pinterest? Personally, I do both. I really love the physical process of flipping through magazine pages and carefully tearing out the ones that speak to me. For those tear-outs, I pin them to a real board, one in my office. But then, there are the nights, like last night, where I just scroll through Pinterest, saving and re-pinning away. I actually recently started a secret Pinterest board called My Style that I’ve been saving favorite images too. I just made it public if you want to check it out. It’s interesting to see what things I’ve been drawn to. Babydoll dresses are definitely one of them. Perhaps it’s the carefree feel, the oftentimes delicate materials, the feminine and youthful feel. Or maybe it’s also that babydoll dresses are flattering and not too tight or restricting. Either way, I’m looking forward to adding more babydoll dresses to my closet. Here’s how I style a babydoll dress for spring:
I have been loving this floral bag for spring! It adds my favorite print. I love it with solid-colored outfits, but it also looks great with other prints, like stripes or gingham!

This outfit will be perfect for the sunny weekends coming up. I can easily pair this babydoll dress with some cute wedges for brunch with the girls or comfy flats for running around town. The embroidery details add a classic look and it’s lightweight so I can easily layer it with a cardigan or denim jacket for those chilly spring mornings. This cardigan I just got would be perfect, although I’m loving this pink denim jacket right now. I got this jacket because I had a feeling it would be extra versatile. Oftentimes I feel limited with a classic blue denim jacket, always feeling like it never quite works with blue denim. This one solves the problem while still giving a similar look. What do you think?
