We have some news!! You probably could tell by the title of the post, or the first image, but something exciting is happening. Our family is GROWING! It feels like such a relief to finally be able to share this news with you all. I feel like I’ve been holding onto such a big secret that I can now let out. We’ve reached the safe point in our pregnancy to announce, and even though I announced almost a month later with Augustine, it’s been hard to hide this belly! I really don’t think I could have kept my pregnancy a secret any longer. It’s true what they say, with the second you pop immediately!
Our Family Has Big News!
Matthew, Augustine and I are so excited for the newest little addition that will be coming early March 2019! Although, we’ll see, maybe we’ll have a February baby!
The thought of having two kids feels a little surreal at the moment but it’s something that we’re all so excited about. Even Augustine seems aware and has been pointing to my belly and even giving it kisses. It is the sweetest thing! While I’m so nervous about this change from one kid to two, and what it will be like for Augustine, I know it’s going to be so wonderful for him to have a sibling. I just can’t wait to see them together!
I found out early on this time around, so I’ve been bursting at the seams with this big secret. This pregnancy feels so real now that I’m finally able to share the news with you all.
I sincerely love my job every day, but it’s days like this that I am just so unbelievably grateful that I’ve shared so many important life moments on the blog with you all. Being a blogger has made me a pretty good virtual scrapbooker! I love that I can look back at so many photos and thoughts I shared during my last pregnancy. These were some of my favorite posts:
When Augustine came home from the hospital.
How to take care of yourself and baby during the pregnancy.
My gender neutral baby shower.
What I relied on during pregnancy.
My maternity wardrobe must haves.
6 things I didn’t realize about having a baby.
P.S. I got pretty emotional looking at Augustine’s pregnancy announcement, too! Time sure does fly!
Stay tuned for a bigger post about my first trimester, and how it’s been different than my first with Augustine.
Thank you all again for being a part of my journey. I couldn’t ask for a more kind, loving and supportive group of readers and friends. I appreciate you all so much…more than words can express. We’re welcoming this new chapter with open arms and grateful hearts and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
